Learning a song That fiddler is Dan Levenson of Cleveland, and that is at Winfield in 1996. A couple weeks before, he taught us the tune "John Stinson's No. 2" at the Fox Valley Festival and we have played it ever since. We have also recorded this tune for our new album. Also, dulcimer players Rick Thum of St. Louis and Dana Hamilton of Dallas learned the tune during those sessions at Winfield (after we told them they had to hear this great tune) and both recorded the tune last year.
That is Bob Atchison, of Manhattan, playing the John Stinson tune we taught him last year at Winfield, because we knew the tune was just right for Bob, and he picked it up in a few go 'rounds.Teaching a song.
